Privacy Policy

This website is operated by Kara Digital Nusantara (“Kara Digital”, “we”), based in Bogor, Indonesia. You can reach us at hello@karadigital.id or on WhatsApp at +62 813-3674-7801.

The website has no user accounts, no payments, and no comments. Fonts and visuals are served from our own domain, and the site embeds no maps, videos, or social media widgets. The contact form does not send your answers to our web server (see below).

The website’s own code does not set cookies or store data in your browser. However, the Google Analytics script that the site loads does. As soon as a page loads, Google Analytics sets two first-party cookies in your browser: “_ga”, which is used to distinguish users, and “_ga_” followed by our analytics ID, which is used to persist session state. Google gives a default lifetime of 2 years for both; your browser may limit this.

These cookies are currently set without asking you first. You can delete them or block them in your browser settings, or use a browser extension that blocks analytics.

The contact form asks for your name, an email or WhatsApp contact, and your message. It also lets you add your company, the service you are interested in, a budget range, and a timeline. If you arrive from the pricing page or the budget planner, your selected package or budget may be carried to the contact page as part of the page address in your browser.

The form has no server behind it. When you press “Send via WhatsApp” or “Send via Email”, your browser composes the message and opens WhatsApp or your email app with the text filled in. Nothing is sent until you send it from that app. Once you do, the message travels through WhatsApp or your email provider under their own terms, and we receive it.

We use what you send to reply to you, to understand your project, and to prepare a quotation. If you message us directly through the WhatsApp button, by email, or by phone, we handle that information in the same way.

Our promotion page at promo.karadigital.id works the same way, with WhatsApp buttons that open a chat with our marketing team at +62 857-0348-7638. The message that opens ready to send ends with a short code taken from the link you arrived on (for example the name of a campaign) and the part of the page you pressed the button on. You can edit or delete the message before sending it. We use the code only to understand which campaigns bring enquiries.

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used: which pages are viewed, roughly where visitors come from, what device and browser they use, and which buttons are clicked. The script loads from Google after the page has loaded. Google receives technical information such as your IP address and browser details as part of that request.

Our testing shows that the analytics script also contacts Google domains that are used for advertising and audience features (for example stats.g.doubleclick.net and google.co.id). Depending on the settings of our analytics account, Google may use this data for its own purposes, as described in its own privacy policy.

When you press a WhatsApp or email button on the contact form or the WhatsApp widget, we record that the button was used and which method it was. We do not send your name, contact details, or message to analytics.

The website is delivered through our hosting provider (Hostinger) and its content delivery network. Like any web host, they process technical information such as your IP address, requested pages, and browser details to deliver and protect the site.

The site links to services such as WhatsApp, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google, and the websites of our clients. Those services have their own privacy practices, which we do not control.

We keep messages and project information for as long as needed to respond to you and to manage any resulting work or relationship. We have not set a fixed retention period.

You can write to hello@karadigital.id to ask what information of yours we hold, or to ask us to correct or delete what you have sent us.

If the website changes how it handles information, for example by adding a form backend or other tools, we will update this page and its date.
